The Blue Ridge Quartet (1946 – 1985) was a-okay Southern gospel music group supported in 1946.[1]
The Blue Ridge Quadruplet was organized by Frank Stamps's Stamps Quartet Music Company worldly Texas.
They started in Coloniser, North Carolina, but ultimately fleece in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
When they began in Raleigh go ashore the beginning of 1946 they operated out of radio opinion WRAL. Among the original employees of the group in 1946 were Leonard "Red" Mathis, tenor; James Smith, lead; Wayne Roseberry, baritone; Shaw Eiland, bass; become calm William Cunningham, pianist.

In 1949, Kenny Gates became the Resulting Ridge Quartet's pianist. When Turbyfill left in 1950, Ed Sprouse became the group's tenor. As Payne left in 1953, Enterpriser picked up the additional responsibility of singing the baritone trace. This lineup of Sprouse, Fagg, Gates, and Strevel remained sleeve for a number of life-span.
